Led and contributed to large-scale platform improvements related to Shopify’s App & Theme stores, including:
- Architected and implemented app recommendations in Shopify Admin to improve discovery.
- Introduced ads to the App Store, improving app visibility and discoverability.
- Optimized build pipelines, reducing App Store build times by 10+ minutes.
- Led the migration of the App Store from AWS to Google Cloud Storage with zero downtime.
- Spearheaded Kafka adoption, enabling scalable, event-driven processing between the App Platform and other Shopify services.

Onboarding & Engineering Culture
- Designed and launched Shopify’s “Code-Along” program for new engineers, providing hands-on experience with the entire Shopify tech stack before joining their teams.
- Advocated for early UX & Engineering collaboration, ensuring product explorations were grounded in both business and technical feasibility.

Built the Shopify Developer Tools Web and macOS apps to enhance third-party developer productivity. The apps allowed users to make authenticated calls to Shopify's Admin APIs, generate dummy data for stores, and also view and customize components from Shopify's Polaris UI library.
